The pivotal character in the movie (played by Ranbir) has got all the comforts one may need in life because of his wealthy father and he was kicked out from his home after he flunked the college exam and was eventually kicked out from his home. How he meets a girl who has recently moved to Mumbai from Kolkata, and how she teaches him the basic lessons of life, makes up for the remainder of the movie.

Dil Chahta Hai
The next movie on this exclusive list is the Farhan Akhtar directed Dil Chahta Hai. This film is a story based on the lives of three friends, Akash (Aamir Khan), Sameer (Saif Ali Khan), and Siddharth (Akshaye Khanna). All three characters in the movie are quite contrasting to each other yet they are common when it comes to friendship, enjoying life, and having fun.
Akash is a non-believer and he believes true love doesn’t exist and it only ends up ruing healthy relationships. Sameer is shown in the movie as a believer, who wants to fall in love, experience the magic of love and he wears his heart on his sleeves in the entire movie, and Siddharth is shown as someone who is matured, sensitive, and understanding. He is a painter who knows a thing or two about true love. Dil Chahta Hai is essentially a movie about these three distinct characters, their unique individual relationships, and the impact these relationships have on their lives make up for the remainder of the movie. If you want to see a coming-of-age Bollywood flick, then Dil Chahta Hai is definitely the one you must watch.
