Actor-model Rhea Chakroborty has finally opened up and spoke about the much-speculated Europe trip in 2019 with the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant passed away in mysterious circumstances on 14th June in Mumbai. The late actor’s father Mr.KK Singh has registered a complaint against Rhea and her family members for abetment of suicide.

In the interview with India Today earlier today, Rhea said things were fine until they were sitting in the flight. Rhea disclosed that before the flight took off, Sushant took a pill called Modafinil, without any prescription, and the late actor confessed that he was feeling claustrophobic.

Rhea Chakroborty said, “When we reached Paris, he didn’t leave his room for three days. Before the trip, he was very happy. He told me that he was very excited about the trip as he would show me his true side during this trip. He will walk on the streets and have fun with me which he couldn’t do in India. We were really happy. I was wondering what happened.”

“In Switzerland, he was fine. When we reached Italy, we stayed at a Gothic hotel, which we didn’t know at the time of booking. In our room, there was a dome-like structure, which I didn’t like. I asked him if we should change our hotel, but he insisted on staying there. He told me that there was something there. His health deteriorated and he started having anxiety attacks. Then he told me that in 2013, he had a depressive episode,” she further added.

While dispelling about the same, Rhea further said, “I had a fashion shoot by the clothing trip Shein in Paris. The company sent me the tickets. Sushant said it was a good chance for us to spend time together. He canceled my tickets and booked first-class tickets for us. He loved to live king size. I realized that he was spending an enormous amount of money during the trip but that was how he was. Even before this trip, he went to Thailand with seven of his male friends. He booked a private jet for that trip and spent Rs 70 lakh. So it was not like he spent the money just on me. He was like that as a person. He loved living like a star. I was not living off Sushant Singh Rajput’s money. We were living like a couple.”

The actor also talked about her reaction when she found out that she was not on the list for his funeral as “his family members don’t like me.”

Rhea said she wanted to attend Sushant’s funeral but decided not to attend it at the suggestion of her friends as the family did not want her to be there. The actor said her friends informed her that “you will be ridiculed, you will be thrown out. You are already not in a sound mental state. Don’t come here.”

Two of Rhea’s friends suggested she take one last look at Sushant and that’s why she saw Rajput’s body for three-four seconds. “Said sorry and touched his feet”

“Yes, I said” Sorry babu”. When you see a dead person, what else will you say? I said sorry as he was no more. When you love someone and they die, you say sorry. Sorry that you aren’t here. Sorry that a joke has been made out of your death,” she said.

When asked about the allegations of her controlling Sushant Singh Rajput’s lifestyle and staff, Rhea declared them as ‘baseless allegations’ and said most of the staff were either hired by Sushant or his sister Priyanka.

Rhea Chakroborty said her “media trial” has become a “witch hunt”.

“Loving someone has become the most wanted crime,” she said while further adding she just wants to take a “deep breath” and have a normal day with her family where there would be no anxiety attack.

“This is a conspiracy to break me, my family. Kangana Ranaut ji said ‘it was a systematic breakdown of a fragile mind’, then what is it?”

Rhea also claimed that the late actor did not share a good relationship with his father KK Singh.
