Hilarious Mistakes in Bollywood Blockbusters

Bollywood movies are loved and adored the world over for its sheer entertainment factor that includes song and dance sequences, gripping storylines, and unbelievable comic situations. But to err is human and this logic applies to the famous Bollywood blockbusters as well. Here in this post, we will put light on a few such mistakes that you might have missed noticing otherwise while watching the movies. Read on…

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Farhan Akhtar’s ambitious Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ventured into the 100 crore club in no time after its release which paved the way for many sports biopics such as Mary Kom, M.S.Dhoni which went on to become immensely successful at the box office. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a story that was set up in the 1950s and hence the makers couldn’t do away without making some minor blunders. In one of the scenes in the movie, Farhan was seeing singing ‘NanhaMunna’ to impress Sonam Kapoor in the movie but the movie that has the song, Son of India released in the year 1962. One cannot also miss out on noticing the mobile towers seen in a few scenes of the movie and the funny part is mobile towers didn’t exist in the era!

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge is one of the most successful movies to be ever made in the History of Indian cinema but this movie too had its moments of errors that the audience has happily ignored all these years. In the epic song ‘Tujhe Dekha to Yeh Jaana Sanam’ Kajol was seen standing on a Green grass field but when she noticed Shahrukh and came running to embrace him, the Green grass field magically transforms into a field full of mustard flowers! Maybe it is their true love for each other that did the trick. In another scene of the movie when Kajol’s suitcase fell open on a running train, we didn’t see anything lying on the floor but magically Shahrukh pulls out an item of clothing lying beneath him!

The Abbas-Mastaan directed multi-starrer Race is one of the most successful movies and subsequently, the makers also made Race 2 and Race 3 in due course of time. But Race was not devoid of few minor glitches here and there either and one cannot miss out on noticing these bloopers. The cars used in the movie kept on changing – from Mercedes e320 to Mercedes e350 and in another scene, it changed magically from a BMW6 series model M6, 645i to 650i. There was no sense of continuity when it comes to using a particular car model in the movie. Also in one shot, you see speakers attached to the LCD T but in the next shot, they are nowhere to be seen! In another scene of the movie, you cannot help but notice lighting and camera equipment that is usually used during shooting.

Queen is one of the landmark movies in Kangana Ranaut’s career due to its women-centric appeal but this movie too had its own share of flaws. In one of the scenes, Kangana was shown leaving from Paris wherein Lisa Hayden had come to see her off but the train shown in that scene is a local sprinter from Netherland Railways. It’s not only about the train but the plane in which Kangana took off from Delhi also got magically changed from an Airbus A320 to an Airbus A330, and then to an Airbus A380 in between shots!

Krrish 3

Nobody would deny it that Hrithik Roshan is our own superhero after starring in the superhero movie. But superheroes are human enough to make mistakes and Krrish 3 is no exception when it comes to committing silly mistakes. In one of the scenes of the movie, Hrithik was seen not being seated in the front seat when Priya Mehra (Priyanka Chopra) drops Krishna and Rohit to their offices but later in that scene, Hrithik was seen stepping out from the front door! Furthermore, in the song ‘Raghupathi Raghav’ Hrithik’s shirt changes to full sleeves, then to half sleeves, and then back to full sleeves while celebrating his birthday. Maybe it was the magical powers of Krrish that did the trick here.
